 Mestre - Venice - Bled (B, D)

Start your adventure at the hotel reception, where you’ll meet your tour leader between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. First on the agenda is Venice, a city like no other, floating on water. Explore its wonders on a guided walking tour with an English-speaking guide, soaking in the sights and sounds of this magical city. After your Venetian journey, we’ll head to Slovenia. The day ends with a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay in the scenic area around Lake Bled, preparing you for the wonders ahead.

Day 3

Bled - Bohinj - Bled (B)

Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Lake Bled, Slovenia’s jewel amidst the mountains. Begin with a serene boat ride on the glacier-formed lake, followed by leisure time to explore the charming island at your own pace. Next, ascend to Bled Castle, where history and panoramic views of the city, lake, and surrounding peaks await. On a clear day, the majestic Mount Triglav, Slovenia’s tallest peak, is visible in all its glory. Conclude your day with a visit to Lake Bohinj, a hidden gem offering endless photographic moments in its unspoiled natural beauty. Day 4

Bled - Klagenfurt - Wörth Lake - Bled (B, L)

Today’s journey takes you to Austria, a land where the majestic Alps greet you at every turn, stunning in every season. Dive into the heart of Carinthia for a panoramic tour of Lake Wörth, a 20 km stretch of crystal-clear waters and a favorite among vacationers. Next, explore Klagenfurt, a lively university town known for the iconic Lindworm fountain at the heart of the old city square, Altplatz. Savor a delightful lunch in the Klagenfurt area before we make our way back to the Lake Bled area for the night. Prepare for another restful evening surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Lake Bled.

Postojna & Predjama Castle – Rovinj (B, D)

Embark on the next leg of your journey as we head towards Croatia, with a captivating stop at the Postojna Caves. Discover this extensive underground world, one of Europe’s most grandiose cave systems, filled with extraordinary geological formations and the habitat of the unique olm. Then, marvel at the Renaissance Predjama Castle, perched atop a towering cliff, as it narrates the tales of its 700-year legacy linked to Postojna. Our day concludes with an arrival in the charming coastal town of Rovinj in the late afternoon, where you’ll spend the night enveloped in its enchanting atmosphere.

Day 6

Rovinj - Istria tour (B, T, T)

Begin your day exploring the Istrian Coast’s most treasured sights. Wander through the maze of cobbled streets in some of Istria’s most beautiful towns, uncovering the rich tapestry of history that adorns this stunning peninsula. Then, venture into the heart of Istria to indulge in one of the region’s most esteemed delicacies – the truffle. The journey continues with a sensory delight: an olive oil tasting session. Experience the robust green aroma and taste of various extra virgin olive oils at one of the area’s top producers. The day’s adventures culminate with a visit to Pula’s magnificent amphitheatre, one of the world’s best-preserved ancient arenas, nestled in the heart of the 3000-year-old administrative center of Istria. Your night concludes back in Rovinj, where you’ll rest and reflect on a day full of discovery.

Day 7

Rovinj - Opatija - Lake Bajer - Plitvice lakes (B, L, D)

Journey from the vast landscapes of Croatia’s largest peninsula towards the charming town of Opatija. Here, you’ll have the leisure to soak in the ambiance of a town adorned with splendid villas and historic hotels, once the cherished winter retreat of the Austrian aristocracy. Stroll along the scenic Lungomare promenade, explore the lush Angiolina Park, or pause for a reflective coffee break on Wagner’s terrace. The journey then winds through the Gorski Kotar Region to the quaint village of Fužine, where you’ll discover the enchanting Vrelo Cave. This visit promises lasting memories of Croatia’s verdant heartlands. A delightful lunch awaits at the cozy Bitoraj restaurant, offering a taste of the region’s traditional, homemade cuisine. Day 8

Plitvice lakes - Split (B, D)

After breakfast, let yourself be carried away by the fascinating labyrinth of evergreen woods and lakes interconnected with stunning waterfalls. The UNESCO protected oldest Croatian national park proudly carries the title of one of the world’s most impressive national parks. The journey continues towards Split for a short evening walk through the UNESCO World Heritage site, the largest city on the Adriatic coast. During the walking tour, explore the Diocletian’s Palace, built by the Roman emperor Diocletian at the turn of the 4th century, the Grgur Ninski Statue, the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St Domnius. Farewell dinner in a typical Dalmatian restaurant – konoba. Overnight in Split.

After breakfast, the end of the tour. Transfer to the Split Airport or to the harbour to embark on another cruise.
